Free admission for all visitors.

The museum is open
Tuesday–Sunday from 11 am–6 pm, closed on Mondays.

In 2012, the museum will also be closed on: 1st January, 6th April & 9th April, 22nd–24th June, 6th December and 24th–26th December.

Guided tours

Summer 2012: Finlayson, town of women and textiles

from 4th July to 24 th August, Wednesdays and Fridays at 1 pm.
English guided tour to the history of the old Finlayson cotton mill area.
Includes visit to the Textile Industry Museum and Steam Engine Museum.
Tickets 7€, 1,5 hours.

For groups
Guided tours of the exhibitions, the Textile Industry Museum and the Steam Engine Museum are available for groups by prior arrangement and tours of the old Finlayson mill area can also be arranged. Guided tours are usually available in Finnish, English, Swedish and German.

Museum shop
Our shop is located on the entrance level and is open during museum opening hours. The museum shop sells books, souvenirs and special exhibition products.
