Lempeä open stage valloittaa Työväenmuseo Werstaan rönsyilevän kvääreissä merkeissä! lllan aikana kuullaan lämmittelevänä artistina ainutlaatuista Elsi Sloania sekä open stagella lukuisia rohkeita lavalle astuvia. ltse open stagen jälkeen ilta jatkuu vielä Tammerkosken kupeessa DAM Barissa! Tapahtuma on maksuton.
Tässä tapahtumassa ei tarvitse olla nätisti queer, vaan tilaa on kaikenlaisille tunteille ja ajatuksille kvääriyteen ja Prideen liittyen. Voit saapua open stagelle päästelemaan mitä ikinä tarvitsee tai nauttia esityksistä yleisöstä käsin. Esityksissä ei tarvitse pelätä olevansa liian poliittinen, liian raivoissaan tai liian raju. Pyrimme luomaan tilan, jossa voit olla queer juuri sillä tavalla kuin olet; rönsyillen, rosoisesti ja rakkaudella. Suosittelemme tapahtumaa yli 18-vuotiaille.

Vaikka tapahtumalla onkin teema, saa lavalle tulla esittämään mitä mieli tekee. Tavoitteenamme tapahtumassa on luoda erityisesti queer-ihmisille tilaa jakaa. Kaikki lausujat otetaan avosylin vastaan, mutta kannustamme osallistujia tarkastelemaan omaa suhdettaan kvääriyteen seka pohtimaan sita, miten ja milloin ottaa ja antaa tilaa.
Tapahtumaa on mukana sponsoroimassa ravintola DAM Bar, jossa vietetään tapahtuman jatkoja open stagen päättymisen jälkeen klo 21 eteenpäin. Jatkoilla tarjolla on tapahtuman osallistujille virvokkeita alennushinnoin.

LÄMMITTELEVÄN ARTISTIN ESITTELY:
Riot pop -artisti Elsi Sloan on huolestunut kansalainen ja queer-ilon ruumiillistuma, joka hahmottaa musiikillaan elämää ja euforiaa kriisien keikahduspisteessä.
Sloanin musiikki huokuu vapautta, yhteisöllista elämäntapaa ja lesbouden pyhää voimaa. Se luo tilan niin herkkyydelle kuin tarkkanäköisille huomioille maailmasta. Esiintyjänä Sloanin intensiivinen läsnäolo ja riisuttu rehellisyys pysäyttävät.

On Tuesday, June 23rd, Lempeä open stage is taking over the Finnish Labour Museum Werstas, this time in an overflowingly queer spirit! During the evening, we’ll hear the unique Elsi Sloan as the opening performer, followed by numerous brave performers taking the open stage. After the open stage, the evening continues by the Tammerkoski river at DAM Bar! The event is free of charge.
At this event, you don’t have to be ”nicely queer” – there is space for all kinds of feelings and thoughts related to queerness and Pride. You can come to the open stage to express whatever you need to or simply enjoy the performances from the audience. There’s no need to fear being too political, too angry, or too intense in your performance. We aim to create a space where you can be queer exactly the way you are: expansive, rough-edged, and full of love. We recommend the event for people over 18.

We ask performers to keep their sets to a maximum of 7 minutes. Please include your stage name in your message and mention that you are signing up for the event in Tampere.
Although the event has a theme, you are welcome to perform whatever you like on stage. Our goal is especially to create space for queer people to share. All performers are welcomed with open arms, but we encourage participants to reflect on their own relationship with queerness and to consider when to take space and when to give space.
The event is sponsored by DAM Bar, where the afterparty will take place following the open stage from 9 PM onward. Discounted refreshments will be available for participants at the afterparty.
The event will be held on the 2nd floor of Werstas in the Bertel Hall, which is accessible.

DESCRIPTION OF THE WARM UP ACT:
Riot pop artist Elsi Sloan is a concerned citizen and the embodiment of queer joy, who, through their music, explores life and euphoria at the tipping point of crises. Sloan’s music radiates freedom, a communal way of living, and the sacred power of lesbian identity. It creates space for both sensitivity and sharp observations about the world.As a performer, Sloan’s intense presence and stripped-down honesty are gripping.
”On stage, I want to create moments that make the listener begin to reflect on their life and their connection to other people from a new perspective. What are we capable of together!” reflects Sloan, who is also known as an actor.
